EBP - exactly. The B bridge in 5/8 is enormous - I haven't found any other version of S-F where "Into" is voiced like 5/8. I mean, it's not complex, just B and A, over and over. (Okay, all of Phil's work underneath, the tapestry that Bobby and Jer weave, that's stunning) And as you point out, is Phil 'underneath' or is he carrying everyone else?

When it comes to getting the most out of a simply constructed (harmonically) melody, David Gilmour is one of the few guitarists out there that comes to mind. Talk about chord voicing and phrasing.........

That would be a collaboration I would drop a lot of money to see.

I've listened to the bridge section countless times and I try to call the transition where it sounds more like fire than Scarlet and I can't do it. I have never come up with the same point yet.
